The White Horse Alumni

Nobody ever really leaves The White Horse, but some people take a break, maybe to go to university, or become a banker, or start their own chain of fast food restaurants. Here are a few 'resting' members of the team..

Leo Silver

Ex quiz master, and general bar wizzard Leo graced our pub through 2009-2010. He once sang 'Born under a bad sign' on the open mic, and it went on for at least 30 minutes. Leo was voted in the top 1000 White Horse staff members of the century!

Del 'Boy'

Young Del was the fastest glass collector in the whole of Richmond. During the war Del single-handedly fought off 50 nazi parachute troopers from taking over the White Horse. A true legend.

Steph Constantinides and Will Browne

Steph and Will were the first White Horse couple to run away together. They can now be found on the French Polynesian Island of Ua Huka where Steph is a marine-biologist and Will trains the national table tennis team.

Despina Nicolaou

Des had to leave us very quickly in early 2011 as she was asked to help with the tensions in Libya. Des was an undercover agent for the UN working at the White Horse spying on customers, and checking that we weren't using any contraband vegetables in our soups.

Ed Saloman

Unfortunately Ed was deported from the UK and went to Australia to seek asylum. He was last seen somewhere in Sydney holding a big 'Golf Sale' sign in the Kings Cross district. Ed made it into the White Horse hall of fame when he rescued head chef Peter from a tropical spider which came in on a delivery of bananas.

Bethany Warren

Bethany moved to a buddhist retreat in Tibet. We are a little bit worried about Bethany, as we feel she may have left under false pretenses. She isn't much of a religious girl, but has a deep love of lamas. She had heard of the most famous breed of lamas which origionates from Tibet, and wanted to study the dalai lamas and see what makes them so special.
