The White Horse

 

We are your local gastropub in Richmond, Surrey. The White Horse is famous for 2 things, our brilliant food and our great staff. Head chef Shane serves the white horse up a seasonally influenced menu with something for everyone and manager Helen Gray does her best to keep you all happy.

We have the best pub garden in Richmond, rightnext to a brilliant children’s play area. The atmosphere here at the White Horse is also something everyone will love, we are relaxed but very efficient, giving you the right service for your occasion. 

If you would like a full 3 course sit down meal with wine and the service to match, we provide it.  If you want to just relax with a paper and a pint, with a burger, we provide it.  If you just want to come along for  a glass of wine and a good old chat, we provide it.


Less than 5 minutes away from Richmond train station, we are perfect for an after work drink, or a lazy evening meal.  Please do book a table with us as we hate to disappoint people, as we do get very busy.
We are very doggy and kiddie friendly.  As long as you keep your dog on a lead, and don’t let your children trip up our staff we welcome you with open arms.

Sunday Roasts at the White Horse are something special, but you need some tips to get hold of them, as we get fully booked every Sunday

1. Book as early as possible. We generally get booked up 1 week in advance

2. We don't book the garden, so if you get here early (12ish) just grab a table!

3. Try to book/walk in for around 3pm, as our early booking will be done by then.

4. Try an evening meal, we don't do roasts Sunday evening, but again we get very busy
